1. Confidentiality
Property Repair
is an independent company and values this position enormously.
As such we operate on the strict basis of confidentiality with our
clients and suppliers. At no time will we pass
on your details or any information relating to you to any other
party for any purpose other than the delivery of materials, if
coming from a supplier, or where a partner company is involved.
2. Billing
Depending on the work required,
Property
Repair will charge either
by the hour or on a fixed price basis in agreement with the client. On an hourly rate we will submit an invoice with a
7 day payment period. For fixed price jobs we may require a staged
payment process. We will agree this with you when submitting
our proposal and again on a 7 day payment period.
3. Payment
As you expect us to turn up
at an agreed time and carry out specified work we too expect you
to pay us on time within agreed payment terms. We accept most
forms of payment but stress that you must not pay cash to any
operatives or partners or people claiming to represent Property
Repair, without the
agreement of your contact at Property
Repair.
4. Materials
Experience has shown us that some
clients prefer to buy the required materials themselves, which
we are happy to work with. In instances where Property
Repair have to buy
materials we will charge you at the rate we have been charged plus
any delivery charges that we may incur.
It is the clients
responsibility to ensure that materials they have ordered are on
site and available for the Property
Repair operatives, at the
agreed time, enabling them to commence with their work. If
the materials have not been delivered then the client is still
liable for Property Repair
labour costs and any further incurred costs due to late delivery
of the materials.
5. Plant
& Equipment
Where Property
Repair are required to
hire specialist equipment we will charge you at the rate we have
been charged plus any incurred running costs.
6. Working
on Renovations
Property redevelopments are
notorious for throwing up unforeseen problems, such as damp for
example. When quoting for a job we will strive to ensure that we
are quoting for all necessary work. However, should an unforeseen
problem arise we will not go any further until we have spoken and
agreed with you any extra work that is required with an agreed
budget.
7. Snagging
& Defects
Property Repair
will work with you to ensure that all quoted for work is completed
to your satisfaction. If you are not happy about any work carried
out by our operatives please list these and let us know as soon as
is possible enabling us to fix any work that may be caused by our
operatives or directly related to the work we have done. We can
not be held responsible for our work being damaged when the case
may be that another workman or company has damaged the work we
have done.
As within any industry, errors
do happen. We will work with you to reduce any incidence of
mistakes occurring that are within reason.
8. Confirmation
of Work
Property Repair
will not carry out any work without your written agreement.
Should you require any further work to be carried out, whilst one
job is still being done, we will only go ahead with the additional
work when we have your written agreement. This reduces
any incidences for misunderstanding and ensures that all parties
know what is expected of them.
9. Key
Holding
Incidences do arise when our
clients are unable to give us access to their property within
normal or agreed working times. Property
Repair have and continue
to hold the keys to some of our clients properties. These keys
are held in a secure location and only two people within the
company know where these keys are kept, for security purposes.
Your keys will never be handed to an operative without a manager
being present on site.
10. Complaints
Procedure
As with any company we aim to
please our customers. However, we accept that there may be times
when you are not happy with our service, an operative or the work
carried out by us. Please make a note as to why you are not happy
with something and raise this with a manager from Property
Repair in strictest
confidence. Please be assured that we will work with you to resolve
any issues.
11. Agreement
By engaging Property
Repair you are in
agreement with these Terms and Conditions. If there is anything
you do not agree with please raise this with your contact at Property
Repair.
